Walk Without The Details
“Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.” Matthew 14:22, NKJV
Jesus told the disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side of the lake. There were many details that He did not tell them concerning His request.
He did not tell them their time of arrival. Neither did He tell them how He was getting to the other side of the sea.
He just said, “Get in the boat, row to the other side, and I’ll meet you over there.”
The Lord may not tell you every detail of His plan. We would like to know all the details as how God plans to work in a particular situation in our life but the truth is that most of the time we do not know the details of His plans.
If God were to tell us all the details of His plans, we would not need to “walk by faith” as the Bible has instructed us to do.
The disciples with Jesus that day were to do only one thing; get in the boat, go to the other side of the lake and wait for Him. The Lord would take care of the rest in His own way and on His time.
Be encouraged today even if you don’t know all of God’s details in the situations of your life. Rest assured that He does!
