Our Great Challenge
“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love…” John 15:10, NKJV
God accepts who we are, how we are and where we are, but at the same time, He challenges us to move forward.
He challenges us to become all that our Creator designed us to be and to do. He equips us with His presence so we can move from where we are to where He desires for us to be.
This is no small challenge for us. It will require patience and perseverance to complete the task of becoming all that God wants us to become.
This challenge is not a hundred yard dash but rather a marathon. We will not complete this transformation of our life in some short time. It will require the balance of the life that we have left.
Let us not waste one moment. Move forward in your spiritual walk with the Lord today. Leave behind that which weighs you down and run your race with patience.
