A Love We Cannot Earn
“We love Him because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19, NKJV
God’s love is a love that you cannot earn. It’s an unconditional love that has no ending. You can’t earn it therefore you cannot lose it.
You can’t earn unconditional love. You can’t merit it in any way. You can’t deserve it.
God says you are worthy of His love solely because it is His desire to love you. There is nothing you can do to win more of God’s love.
We didn’t love Him before He loved us because He loved us when we were conceived in our mother’s womb.
Nothing we do or nothing we experience can separate us from God’s love. He continues to love even those who reject Him, curse Him and even hate Him.
Be encouraged today in knowing that you are loved; regardless of what you have done, where you have been or what you have thought, God loves you with an unending love.
