Grace In Troubled Times
“…My grace is sufficient for you…” 2 Corinthians 12:9, NKJV
Paul found out that grace would be sufficient to get him through whatever he was going through in his life.
The scripture for today is good enough for us also. As we are troubled about the world around us, we will find that God will give us the grace that we need to get through whatever we might face personally or otherwise.
It is not that we want to suffer nor is it that we want to face trouble but we, like Paul, can know that the grace of God will be sufficient for us in our time of need.
That in itself is a word of comfort and a word of encouragement for us today. As we see one bad news story after another on the evening newscast, we can be assured that God’s grace will cover those who call on His name.
