The Battle Rages On
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12, NKJV
Ask any veteran about his experiences in combat, and he will probably tell you stories that make you shudder. As horrible as open conflict with weapons can be, imagine how much worse a war would be if the enemy were invisible.
The truth is, each day we are in the middle of an ongoing spiritual war, and we can’t even see the enemy with our physical eyes.
There aren’t many verses in the Bible that give details about the ways that Satan and his followers manifest themselves, but we do know that they are spirits, fallen angels.
As eternal enemies of God, they are committed to disobedience and rebellion, and they delight in assisting us in making wrong choices and those wrong choices can create chaos for ourselves and others.
We are to be alert as to the many ways satan would like to destroy our lives. We are destined to be winners in the spiritual war but that does not mean that satan has ceased to fight.
He rages on in his war against God and the people of God.
Protect your family, your mind, and your heart against the evil of this day.
Be encouraged today in knowing that you do not fight the battle alone. God is with you on the battlefield.
With Blessings,
Riley Pippen
