It Might Be Simpler Than You Think
“The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17, NKJV.
Sound a little too simple? Does “Have a little talk with Jesus” sound a little too simple in light of the heavy problems you are facing?
We often make things a little too complicated when we attempt to fix our problems in our own wisdom, determination and might.
When Naaman, the leper, went before the prophet to seek healing from his leprosy, he expected some huge elaborate action from the prophet to pronounce the healing of the disease. Instead, the prophet sent someone else out to Naaman and told him to dip in the Jordan river 7 times.
When the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years sought Jesus for healing, all she wanted to do was to touch the hem of His garment as He passed by.
The answer to their deepest need was simpler than many might have thought. Often times, we think the solution to our problem or problems will long and complicated.
However, it is quite different when the Lord is brought into our situation. When we attempt to fix it ourselves, we get what man can do. When we bring God into the situation, we get what God can do.
Have a little talk with Jesus today about your problem or problems. He has the time to listen if you will just begin the conversation. He has the answer to all of your problems if you will have the patience to let Him work them out.
