Don’t Be A Fool
“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” Psalm 14:1, NKJV.
April 1st is also called “April Fools” day or sometimes “All Fools Day” The origin of “April Fools” day is uncertain and we will not try to explain it today.
However, I would encourage us to look closely at the verse for the day that reminds us that it is foolish to reject the reality of God.
There are certainly many today that would claim that there is no God. They are known as atheists. In the Bible they are referred to as “fools”.
Foolish because hell will be their eternal dwelling place after death. Only a fool would choose hell over heaven; the devil over God; eternal wailing and gnashing of teeth over eternal peace.
Don’t be a fool. The evidences of God are all around you. Open your eyes and see the reality of God in nature, in the eyes of your children, and in the marvelous creation of your own body.
Don’t be a fool. God is in control of all that this world is going through right now. Don’t be fooled into thinking He doesn’t care about what this virus is doing to you and this world because He does. Don’t be fooled into thinking He is not our answer through this because He is.
I don’t have the answers to our many questions. Maybe no one on earth has the answers to all our questions. But God knows the answers to every question we may have.
We have to trust Him more now that every before.
Don’t be a fool and follow the devil into his hell. You can have life and life eternal through Jesus Christ.
Only Christ gives life and the devil only gives death.
Choose life through Jesus Christ.
