Be Amazed
“Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Our scripture today tells us about a man that was healed and when everyone saw what had happened to the man, they were all filled with wonder and amazement.
How long has it been since you were filled with wonder and amazement by what God has done or what He is currently doing in your life?
We tend to get in a rut in our life; that is to say that life can become routine and dull as we go through the same things day in and day out.
We also tend to get in a rut with our Christian experience and we lose the wonder and amazement of what God is doing around us every day.
We might say “church is boring”. Is there a possibility that it is us because we have gotten in a spiritual rut and we can’t see or even feel what God is doing around us?
How long has it been since you felt the wonder and amazement of God’s work in your life or someone’s life around you. God is still working and God is still doing and God is still performing miracles and wonders.
Climb out of your rut and once again sense and feel the wonder and amazement of God Almighty.
