“I’m Going To Stand On The Promises of God”
“For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20, NKJV
All of us have times in life when a crisis or problem seems larger than we can possibly bear, and we become doubtful about the outcome. Often, however, the Lord has to get our attention through such an adversity to cause us once more to rely totally on His promises.
Yesterday we talked about leaning on God in difficult times. Today we are talking about standing on the promises of God during difficult times.
All the promises in God’s Word are for you, Christian. And you can stand firmly and securely on those promises during a crisis or during problems in your life.
God has never broken a promise. It is hard to trust someone when you know that they have broken a previous promise they made to you.
Be secure today in knowing that God has never broken one of His promises He has made found in the Bible and He will not ever break one of them. It would go against His very nature.
Be encouraged today in knowing that you can stand on the promises of God. You can trust them and rest assured that God will fulfill what He has promised.
