Who’s In Control?
“Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.” Deuteronomy 4:39, NKJV
The events of recent months in our nation are enough to just make you shake your head. Some are wondering who, if anyone is in control.
The scripture for today serves as a reminder that even though it may seem the world is spiraling out of control; there is someone in control and He is quite capable of handling the current situations.
It is important for us to remember that God is sovereign over His creation regardless of what is taking place in that creation.
To say that God is sovereign is to say that He is supreme over all things, that there is no one above Him, that He is absolute Lord over creation. It is to say that His Lordship over creation means that there is nothing out of His control.
Be encouraged today in knowing that God has this current situation and all world situations well in hand. We may not understand it. We may not be able to see the outcome.
Rest assured that God is still sovereign over His creation. As a Christian, you are safely in His hand. There is no better place to be.
