Are You Changing Spiritually?
“…….to be conformed to the image of His Son…..” Romans 8:29, NKJV
We go through a lot of changes in our lifetime. These changes take place in every aspect of our life. Some of these changes are welcome while others are not so welcome to be a part of our life.
Our scripture for today tells us that changes in our spiritual life are not only welcome but expected by the Lord.
The change starts when we are saved and should continue throughout our life. Anytime that we cease to change may be an indicator that we have ceased to grow as a Christian.
As difficult as change may be, we are to embrace the changes that take place in our spiritual life as they mean we are becoming more like Christ and less like the world.
After all, that is the desire of the Lord for each one of us; that we continue to change and grow as a Christian and to be conformed to be like Christ.
Be encouraged today in knowing that if you feel changes are taking place in your spiritual life, that means you are growing as Christian.
Also, be challenged today in knowing that you should be changing spiritually every day and growing spiritually every day in some way.
