Learn Not To Grumble
“But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” Acts 16:25, NKJV
What would be our reaction if we were in the sandals of Paul and Silas and found ourselves in jail because of our faith in Christ?
Would we grumble or be thankful? We generally want our Christianity to be a joyful experience but sometimes it is not.
We face difficult situations all the time and we have the opportunity to either grumble about it or try to find something positive about it.
The choice is ours but our choice greatly affects how we will react to the outcome of the situation. If we grumble during the situation, most likely we will not be happy if the situation ends badly for us.
On the other hand, if we look for the positive during the situation, there is a good chance that we will also find some positive in the outcome.
Look for the good today even if today turns out to be difficult. It does make a difference on how we get through the difficult time.
