God Is Not Hiding
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13, NKJV
This is not the old game of “Hide and Seek.
During a time of hardship, you need to tell yourself the truth about your circumstances and your position in Christ. You are a child of God, and He loves you with an eternal love. He is in ultimate control of all difficulty and uses it to guide you into a greater spiritual maturity. When hardship comes, you must recall that God has allowed it for a purpose.
There is never a time you are outside His reach of love. No trial is stronger than His ability to save and protect you. The Bible confirms that God does not initiate sorrowful circumstances, but He certainly uses them to spoil the enemy’s plan to ruin your life.
You may be facing a series of physical, emotional, or spiritual tests not because you have sinned but because you love God greatly. Only you know whether something has come between you and the Savior. If you have allowed sin to enter your life, confess it immediately, and then continue in your quest for a life that reflects the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
Satan has a chief goal in mind for the believer, and that is to trick you into giving up. Realize he will stop at nothing to achieve his desire. Never forget that God is stronger than any assault Satan can muster. The Lord uses the wiles of the enemy to train you for kingdom existence. Through adversity, God will draw you closer to Himself.
Today, let’s be grateful that we are never outside His love. No trial is stronger than His ability to save and protect us.
