Just Like A Giant Shade Tree
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1, NKJV
There is nothing quite like a shade tree to get under during the scorching heat to get away from the Texas heat in August.
The shade tree brings relief from the heat and gives protection from the sun on a hot August afternoon when the temperature in Texas exceeds 100 degrees.
Our scripture for today reminds us that when the troubles of life get us down, we can rest under the shadow of the Almighty.
He will give us rest and protection from the troubles of life. What a relief it is to know that when our troubles seem to be out of control, we have a place and a person we can go that will give us rest and relief from the troubles.
As we go through this life, let us always dwell in our secret place close to God where we can find that peace when the storms of life are raging.
