Be Careful Who You Listen To
“But I am not surprised! Even satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, NLT
The Bible says that in the last days, false Christ’s will become more and more evident. We are told in the scripture for the day that satan can and does disguise himself as an angel of light.
Remember that Jesus said He (Jesus) was the light of the world. So, we should not be surprised that satan tries to imitate the true Christ in order to fool people. Don’t let him fool you.
This scripture also tells us that he has messengers and they too can disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. These are people that seem so religious but in reality they are fake. Don’t be fooled by them either.
It should be asked by all of us, “How can I know the difference and protect myself and my family from satan and his false messengers”?
My suggestion is to know God’s Word. Know the truth and the truth shall set you free. You will find the truth in God’s Word and it will prepare you to know the difference between the truth and the lie. I will try to give you the truth from God’s Word in these daily devotionals but you will need more.
Invest in a good study Bible and commit to read it every day. Write down what God reveals to you and keep it in your heart. Pray over what you read and ask God to show you the truth and only the truth. Ask God to protect your mind and heart from the false Christians in this world that want to pollute your mind and heart with their own desires.
