Here Today And Gone Tomorrow
“Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” James 4:14, NKJV
Another year is about to end and another year will begin in a couple of days.
I have heard many people say that it seems like time is just flying by. That is so true. Have you ever heard that statement or felt like that? There are many things that age has taught me. One thing that age has taught me is that life is short.
The older we get, the more it seems that time is going by faster and faster.
We take life for granted and we also take time for granted. We can be fooled in thinking that our life is far from being over and we have plenty of time to do the more important things in life such as family, church, and God.
In reality, as our scripture reminds us, we do not even have a promise for tomorrow. We do not know what tomorrow will bring and our life resembles a morning fog that is here for a short while and then is gone.
In your life, you have family, friends and God. Please do not take your family, your friends, your God or your church for granted. These are the things that are really important in our life.
Make this next year really count for you and your family.
