Do Not Let Fear Control You
“Fear not, for I am with you….” Isaiah 43:5, NKJV.
Fear can be a horrible emotion to deal with. There are all kinds of fears too numerous to mention here. However, fear is real and when experienced can freeze us from normal activities.
Fear of heights, fear of enclosed spaces and other fears can make it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to do certain things when our fear is associated with even simple activity.
Our scripture for today tells us “Fear not”. Easier said than done, sometimes; right?
The lord is concerned about all areas of our life and not just the spiritual parts of our life. He is concerned about the areas of human emotions that sometimes we find very difficult to control.
There are very encouraging words in the scripture as well; “for I am with you”.
That is a promise to you that the Lord is present inside your fear. He is there with you. He knows about your fears. He is there to help you and to deliver you from the fears that you have; whatever they are.
Do not allow yourself to be frozen by fear anymore. Break free from that fear with the help of the Lord who is already there with you as the fear rises up in your Spirit.
