One Sign Of A Sick Nation
“Fools mock at sin, but among the upright there is favor.” Proverbs 14:9, NKJV
Our society now mocks and laughs at sin. Jokes are made of sin and God; and society finds it funny. Some of the most popular television shows are shows that mock and make fun of religion and trivialize sin. That says something about the spiritual sickness in our nation.
Our scripture for today calls those who do these things as fools. They do not recognize what they are doing or who they are making fun of; the King of Glory.
It causes me to think of what Jesus said while He was on the cross; “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”.
The fact that a large part of the nation thinks it is funny is a reflection on the spiritual sickness that is overtaking our nation.
There is a deep need in America for true revival. The revival needs to take place from the White House to the Church House.
Be encouraged today in knowing that favor from the Lord is extended to those who do not participate in such activity. They are called the “upright” of God.
