Fear Not; Trust In God
“In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid…….” Psalm 56:11, NKJV
If I can say that God is my Father, Jesus is my Savior, and heaven is my home; then I will not be afraid of what may come, for my trust is in God!
The Bible told us in the last day there would be dangerous times. We are certainly seeing this come true in our world today.
One could be fearful to even go to the store because of what might happen these days. The Lord did not want us to live our life in fear.
2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that; “we were not given the spirit of fear but of power and love and of a sound mind.”
The key to locking out fear from our mind is to put our trust totally and completely in God. Our scripture for today encourages us to do just that.
Fear is an attack upon our faith and our trust that we have placed in God’s hands. Satan is the author of fear and confusion and God is the author of peace and power.
Fear not what may come. Trust in God completely and whatever might come, you will already be in the hands of God.
