Don’t Listen To The Devil
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41, NKJV
Our weakest point is our flesh and that is where satan will attack us each day in an attempt to distract us from the journey we are on with the Lord.
We can build up certain spiritual gifts and talents and we can even become strong in many areas of our Christian walk.
However, we can never let down our guard when it comes to the devil for he is always watching and looking for crack in our armor.
Our scripture encourages us to watch and pray because we could face temptation at any moment. Our temptation will always be at the point of our weakness.
Satan rarely attacks us at our strong points but always at our weak points. You know where you are the weakest just like I know where I am the weakest. That is why we must watch and pray.
Watch and pray today lest the evil one throws a temptation in front of you today. Your spirit may be willing but the flesh is always weak.
Watch and pray today lest the evil one attacks your faith. When he reminds you of your past, you remind him of his future.
The keys to victory over the great tempter are to be watchful and to be prayed up for the traps that he sets for us throughout our day.
