The Pain of Procrastination
“Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” James 4:14-15, NKJV
Life is a gift from the Lord, Himself. This day is a gift from Him also. The bare truth of this life is that our life could end any moment. That’s not the attitude of a doom and gloom person. That’s the attitude of a realist. The reality of this life is that it is far too brief and we are not promised one more moment of this precious day.
Take advantage of this day to realize the truth of this reality and be sure that your family members know how much they mean to you. Procrastination of such words and actions become a way of life far too often.
Take advantage of this day to do something that maybe you have been putting off for some time. Take advantage of this day!
